iPhone App Lock Feature

The latest iOS 18, coming with the feature app lock and hide apps . Both the feature are mind blowing. user were waiting for this feature from very log time and their waiting get an end because Apple is finally providing app lock  and hide app feature with their latest iOS 18 update.

This feature really helps user to protect their privacy and hide their private content, but there is a catch if Apple does not provide two more feature with this feature, then user will not able to protect their content or their private content with this feature.

first problem with this feature

if Apple use same passcode that is used to unlock the iPhone, then there is no meaning of the app lock feature in iPhone because users have to share their passcode with their family to use their iPhone because iPhone is too costly so all family member can’t afford the iPhone and we also know that the picture quality and video quality of the iphone is impressive, so everyone in the family wanted to capture photos and videos with the iPhone. there is one iPhone in a family, so the iPhone user has to share his or her Passcode with his or her family to use his or her iPhone for capturing a moment.

Now, when iPhone user lock apps or Hide apps with the latest features coming with the IOS 18 . as we discussed above the Passcode has shared  with the family member so family member can now  unlock the apps and unhide the apps that iPhone User has locked and hidden.

So apple must provide a separate passcode for app lock , hiding app ,Recently deleted feature and hidden album in Photos App

Second problem with this feature

If apple uses only the face id for Locking apps and hiding apps then many time iPhone Face ID do not recognise the iPhone user at that time user will fail to access looked apps and hidden apps so it will irritate the iPhone user . Using only Face ID can protect iPhone user locked apps and hidden apps but when Face ID will not recognize the iPhone user that time it will be burden for the user.

Both the problems mentioned above Can be fixed by providing a separate Passcode for latest upcoming feature called applock and hidden app.
