Controlling Your Atomberg Fan with Siri

Hands-Free Comfort: The Ultimate Guide to Controlling Your Atomberg Fan with Siri 🗣️

💨 Instant Breeze, Just a Voice Command Away

Imagine walking into a stuffy room, hands full of groceries, and just saying, “Hey Siri, turn on the living room fan.” Instant breeze. No fumbling for remotes, no opening apps.

While Atomberg BLDC fans have seamless integration with Alexa and Google Home right out of the box, iPhone users often feel left out of the native voice control experience. That changes today.

Through the power of Apple’s Shortcuts app, we can bridge the gap and gain full voice control over your Atomberg smart fans. It’s faster than opening an app and feels incredibly futuristic.

📋 What You Will Need

Before we begin, ensure you have the following ready to go:

• An Atomberg Smart BLDC Fan (Wi-Fi enabled model) installed and currently managed via the Atomberg Home App.

• An iPhone or iPad running a recent version of iOS/iPadOS.

• The native Apple Shortcuts App installed on your device.

📲 Step 1: Download the Siri Shortcut

We have pre-built the necessary shortcut framework for you. You don’t need to know how to code; this shortcut acts as the bridge between Siri commands and the Atomberg server.

Tap the icon below on your iPhone or iPad to download the shortcut directly into your Shortcuts app.

🎥 Step 2: Configure the Shortcuts (Video Guide)

Downloading the shortcut above is just the first half of the process. The second half is linking that generic shortcut to your specific fan’s unique ID.

Because every fan setup is different, you need to perform a few simple configuration steps within the Shortcuts app to make sure Siri controls the right device.

Watch the video below for a complete, step-by-step walkthrough of how to configure the shortcut you just downloaded.

🗣️ How to Use Your New Commands

Once you have followed the video guide and configured your shortcut, you are ready to go! The phrase you use to trigger the action depends entirely on what you named the shortcut when you saved it.

If you named the shortcut “Bedroom Fan”, just activate Siri and say:

“Hey Siri, Bedroom Fan.”

Pro-Tip: You can rename these shortcuts at any time in the Shortcuts app to whatever phrase feels most natural to you.

Note: This setup relies on third-party integration using Apple’s Shortcuts app and requires a stable internet connection for your fan to receive voice commands.
