My Meesho Nightmare: Ordered Two, Got One, and No Refund!
I am writing this because I feel completely cheated by my recent experience shopping on the Meesho app. I want to share what happened to me so other people can be careful.
I saw a good deal on a “360 Degree Cell Phone Holder” and decided to buy two of them. As you can see in my order screenshot below, the quantity clearly states “Qty: 2”. I paid the full amount online prepaid.
A few days later, the delivery arrived. As soon as I saw the box, I knew something was wrong. It was a tiny cardboard box. There was no way two phone holders could fit inside it.
When I opened the package, my fears were confirmed. There was only one single product inside. But if you look closely at the shipping label on the box, it still says “Qty 2”.
I immediately contacted Meesho Customer Care. I thought it would be a simple fix. I told them, “Hey, I paid for two, but you only sent one. Please send the missing one or refund me for the missing part.”
Their response was shocking. They flat-out denied refunding me for the missing item.
Instead, they told me that if I return the *one* product I actually received, they would refund money for that one. This makes absolutely no sense! Why should I have to return the only thing they managed to deliver correctly? I just want the refund for the second item that they never shipped.
They took money for two products, sent one, and now refuse to fix the mistake. I feel like I have been scammed due to this terrible customer service logic.
So, I have now requested a return for all the products – yes, for both of them, even though I only have one. Now I have to see what happens next when the courier partner comes to receive the return. When the person comes, I will just say to him: “What you have given, I am returning to you, so just send it back.” Let’s see how they handle this mess.
I recorded the whole situation to show exactly what is happening. You can watch the full proof in my video below.
